A Busy July

Every Wednesday in July I spent directing Wacky Wednesdays at Waterbrooke. 4-6 teens, three moms, and 33 kids had a blast.

We started out at 9:00 with the teens practicing their puppetry, and going over their responsibilities for the day. Then the kids arrived at 10:00 for the Puppet Show and Lesson time.

We split up into three groups for games, crafts, and making a snack.
After the snack we met for Wacky Songs and a review of the lesson, a team time with the teen leaders, and then a picnic lunch.

The last two weeks we had Wet and Wild Wacky Wednesday, and hooked up hoses to the slides on the playground.

Of course, during July Paul and I found time to golf a few rounds - usually on Mondays. My game is ... a challenge! It's a good thing we use the "Modified Casey Rules" so my score is really decent.

We celebrated the Casey Summer Birthdays on the last Sunday of July at Mark and Karena's. Tessa and Annie kindly organized everything.

There was plenty of food and conversation.

The younger generation is taking over!

Mark took us out on the boat for a ride around Lake Minnetonka for a sunset cruise. It was a beautiful night.
Isn't that a beautiful sight?

Stay tuned for the August update, coming soon to my blog on a friendly computer near you!!!
