Wedding Celebration!

On Saturday, May 14, Ted and Angie made it official - they are husband and wife! Paul performed the ceremony and the whole family was there to celebrate with them.

Here are some random pictures from the party - congratulations! It was a wonderful day.

Come on, Matthew, look at the camera!

OK - that's much better:)

We had a bit of trouble getting everybody to look in one direction at the same time. Let's try this again.

Yep - still one not looking - Matthew????

Ted, Angie, Teddy, and Pat

Pet and her two daughters-in law ... or is it daughter-in-laws?

Here are the Catlin grandchildren - plus Katie's boyfriend, all the way from Illinois.

Amariah made friends quickly with Charlie, and gave him lots of hugs.

Matthew and Maddox let Griffin lead the way and they had a blast running around chasing ... GIRLS! Time to rest and re-fuel.

We found a quiet corner for the little ones to play. Amariah couldn't quite understand Charlie's need to throw the duckie. He thought it was a ball, I guess.

Here's Matthew and his "wife." I think they've been married for quite a while. I'm glad we got a chance to meet her. Don't they make a cute couple?

And here's another cute couple. I had to put in a picture of me to prove I was there.

Here's the real photographer - didn't she do a wonderful job?

More Spring Fun 2011

Yes! We have had spring - sunny and 63 degrees today (May 15). That's more like it! We've been busy in April and the first part of May - Easter, with the fam, Feed My Starving Children with Waterbrooke youth, and Charlie's 1st birthday! Check out the photos:

I think it was warm one day in April, too - Easter in Cannon Falls.

Andy, Jenna, Charlie, and their dog - I forgot his name!

Charlie's first Easter egg hunt. He had to find all the polkadot ones. Matthew got the rest. Maddox had his own private hunt the Wednesday before Easter - what a nice grandma.

Where was that one - in a cloud?

Teddy and Matthew with the flying monster. Matthew thought it was more fun to just throw the darn thing.

Off to see Big Man - the statue of Colonel Colville in the Cannon Falls Cemetery near Jane and Chuck's house - a family tradition.

Come on, Grandma - let's go!

Here's Colonel Colville - leader of the 1st Minnesota at Gettysburg.

Matthew was disappointed the cannon was missing - out for repairs, I guess. It's much more fun to climb on than a cement fence.

Yep - dad used to climb on the cannon when he was a boy.

We packed enough food at Feed My Starving Children to feed 31 children one meal a day for a whole year!

Bingo!
Then we had to feed our starving children at the bowling alley - pizza!

S-t-r-i-k-e!!!!

Charlie loved his balloons better than the gifts, I think. Happy 1st birthday on May 8!

Proud mama and papa with the big guy!

Couldn't start to eat until he got his fork. Such a dainty eater!

Well - maybe the fingers work better after all:)

Charlie loves to hang out with the big boys.

This is a novel way to walk - grass and cement are not so forgiving to little toes and knees!

The girls and the little boys went to Panera while the guys went to Teddy's bachelor party. Charlie looks like such a big boy in this photo! The first year sure went fast!
